The original Generation 1 FlatFace Wheel has returned. First designed by Mike Schneider in 2006, this was FlatFace’s very first wheel model. Using the original drawings, FlatFace has reissued the G1 in both its classic form (without bearings) and a modern, updated version with a bearing, while maintaining the exact same size and shape as the original.
The G1 is extremely small, measuring 6.2mm in diameter and 4.2mm wide, with a squared profile reminiscent of worn-down old-school skateboard wheels — a true throwback and a piece of fingerboard history.
Made from Turquoise A material, the wheel offers a slightly softer, super-smooth feel, and remains one of FlatFace’s most popular formulas.
The bearing version features locking bearings, making it compatible with all professional fingerboard trucks.
